Our Farm

At Seed & Sprout, our story began in our own kitchen, where the simple act of growing microgreens for our family opened our eyes to the true value of fresh, flavorful produce. Harvesting right from the tray was an experience that store-bought greens could never match. Beyond the vibrant taste, it deepened our appreciation for the food on our plates and for the people and land that make every meal possible.

Today, that same sense of wonder guides us as we share our microgreens with local chefs, specialty grocers, and neighbors throughout Seattle. Our urban farm uses vertical farming methods that conserve water, reduce our footprint, and make it possible to harvest greens year-round. We grow in ethically and sustainably sourced coconut coir, avoiding pesticides and herbicides in favor of organic-inspired practices that protect both the environment and our community.

By choosing Seed & Sprout, you’re not just supporting a local farmer, you’re helping build a healthier, more resilient food system. We believe fresh, local, and sustainable should never be a mystery, and everyone deserves to know exactly where their food comes from and how it’s grown. From hand-selecting seeds to fine-tuning our indoor environment, every tray reflects our commitment to quality, transparency, and responsible stewardship of nature.

For us, growing microgreens isn’t just a business, it’s how we stay connected to the food we love and the community we serve. We’re proud to deliver greens that elevate everything from home-cooked meals to five-star dishes, and we invite you to taste the difference that community-focused, earth-friendly farming can make.
